DME Stage7 52-53コマ目

I took a 50-minute DME class last nightいすBefore the class, I was worried if I could concentrate on the class such a long time because I had already got used to a 25-minute class. The teacher called at 8:30 pm on the dot and the class started. She is always fun to talk to and I become more talkative with her. After reviewing some practice sentences in lesson 114, we proceeded to lesson 115 (meaning only one lesson left in Stage 7exclamation) Here are some new words I learned in lesson 115.

"Get on one's nerves" - To annoy someone.
Using this phrase, she asked me if there was someone who really got on my nerves. I said "yes" to her and she asked who was it and wanted to know the reason. I told her about my coworker who is always clearing his throat in the most annoying way. (He does it every 2 second and it's so loud! It's so distracting that I sometimes can't even think or concentrate in the officeむかっ(怒り). Other employees say it's just sort of his habit as there's nothing medically wrong with him.)

"recommend"- verb
The teacher asked me "What would you recommend me to do if I wanted to relax?" I answered "if you wanted to relax, I'd recommend you to have a cup of tea". And she said she didn't like teaバッド(下向き矢印). Then using the word "recommend" again, she asked me "Is there a restaurant in your city that you could recommend?" I said to her, "there's a restaurant in my city that I could recommend! It's an Indian restaurant near my house! So delicious!" She looked at me and smiled weakly, saying "I'm sorry I don't like spicy food, either"バッド(下向き矢印). Well, everyone has their own preferenceレストラン I always admire her honestyわーい(嬉しい顔)

英語で日記がかけるのすごい!うらやましいです。
いくつかの単語を英英辞書で調べましたが、意味はわかりました。うれしかったです。
私もさらさらと英文が書けるようになりたいです。

I want to take this opportunity to try to write something in English. .....without worrying about mistakes.
These days I take only 25min DME class daily, so I'm also worried like you if I can keep my concentration during 50min DME class.
These questions in L114,115 were really interesting, so they are prety specific questions. ........But my teachers had no comment about my answers. I am a bit disappointed.

Appy-san,
Thank you very much for your message! I agree with you. If we are afraid to make mistakes, we will never learn much at all. The reason why I've started to write something in English is that teachers keep saying that "you have to improve your writing skills in order to brush up your speaking skills". I think I should follow their advice.

Questions in lesson 114&115 are quite specific and personal. Too bad your teachers didn't give any comments on your answers this time. Maybe next time at review lessons!
